先週（2/15－20）は、教員の授業参観週間。
19日、中1英語の授業を見学してきました。

内容は大きく2つに分かれていました。
最初に不規則動詞の振り返り。
後半は2月25日に予定されている　「　Four Seasons　」　のプレゼンのための準備でした。

振り返りは，ただ暗記させて解答させるというパターンではなく、
全員を起立させてから答えさせる。
カードを使って，カルタのように指示されたヒントから正解を拾う。
プリントの問題を解くなど。

プレゼンの準備は　iPadのKeynote　で進められていました。
この1年のできごとを、「　Four Seasons　 」に絡めて紹介します。

50分の授業中，生徒は立ったり座ったり，さらに2回席を変えたり。
耳と目だけの授業形態から，からだを使った授業へ。
不規則動詞の暗記という単調になりがちな学習。
けれども何かにとりつかれたように活動している生徒。

　後半，授業は一転してプレゼンの準備。
英語を覚えることから，使うことへ。
そんな流れが。

The students have done a speech and interviews in the previous semesters.
"Four Seasons" presentation will be the last big project of the year.

It is their first time to use an iPad for their presentation.
The students are producing a presentation that will be evaluated as part of their third semester grading. This is an exciting new component to the curriculum as it opens up the pathway for communicative English to be used in a meaningful and motivational manner.

Hello. Today, I am going to talk about four seasons.
In spring, my friends and I went to Disneyland. I rode "Big Thunder Mountain" first. It was very very fun.
In summer, I went to Nagano. My school went to summer camp at Togakushi. I climbed a mountain. I was very tired but it was very interesting.
In fall, I went to Shizuoka's Hamamatsu with my basketball team members. We fought many strong teams. I was tired but very happy.
In winter, I had a chorus contest. I sang "My Own Road" and "YELL." I listened to many very good songs. I had fun.

Hello, I am going to talk about four seasons.
In spring, I entered Tokyo Seitoku School. I didn't know many people, so I was very nervous. But I made new friends. I was very happy!
In summer, I went to Shizuoka with my family. We went in the sea. It was very pleasant! I ate ice cream. It was very good. I had a good time.
In fall, I did school festival with my classmates. My friends and I ate many foods. It was very good. I played tennis in my school ground. It is my lifetime's memory.
In winter, my club members went to Hyogo. There, I watched my teammate's tennis game. It was fun.
